My lot..Pain, loneliness, desertion...My lot..
These three things seem to be what defines my life as of late
Friends that mean the world, turn their backs on me
The callousness of their rebukes cut deeper then the sharpest blade
Their absence leaving me more alone, like a solitary weed in a flower bed
Adding one more face to the horrid nightmare, to let go of my out stretched hand
Allowing me to fall into the inky nothingness that threatens to devour my soul

The light from the stars, the light that brings us hope, it fades and dies as dreams cease to be dreamt.

The moonlight shines down and fills the vacancy with cold emotionlessness

When hope, warmth, and love are gone...life is just no longer worth living.
